There have been rumors in the mainstream media/social media that Google Play Services will be suspended from December 1, 2022.
Mobile Network Operators (MNOs) allow users to make in-app purchases (skins, weapons, coins, etc.) via airtime or mobile balance and in return process payments directly through Google. The State Bank has suspended these payments, as a result of which consumers will have to use alternative channels such as debit/credit cards for such purchases.
Google Play services will not be affected in any way and will continue to work.
Conclusion:
The Play store is not closing. State Bank has changed the mode of payment for only the premium apps that you pay for.
Earlier you could also pay from your mobile balance.
But now you will pay only through banking channels i.e. debit and credit cards.
The free Play Store will continue to run, it won’t matter. Alternatively, You can use Nayapay and Sadapay for this.
